Eulalie Hunting Safaris was established in 2001. In 2007 we reintroduced the first buffalo on to our ranch in Limpopo Province, South Africa. For the last 17 years we have been breeding buffalo for the hunting market. The advances and progress made in breeding cape buffalo in SA is nothing short of extraordinary. 20 years ago a 40” buffalo was considered big, 10 years ago that number was 45”. Nowadays most serious breeders only use 50”+ bulls and the best cows for breeding exceptional offspring. Our goal is to sustainably breed/produce/hunt 45”+ buffalo bulls. Eventually that number will become 50”+. Breeding buffalo in SA has become big business, but ultimately the end consumer will always be the hunter. In 2016 we established a sister company – Eulalie Buffalo Pty Ltd – dedicated to breeding the best buffalo possible. We have acquired some of the best genetics available in South Africa, and the results speak for itself. Our herd has grown from a small group to a herd of about 400 head strong today. Currently we operate on 10260 acres and hope to expand that some more in the near future.
